EFCC arrests 2 brothers, alongside six Yahoo Boys in Oshogbo.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan zonal office, has arrested siblings alongside six men suspected internet fraudster, well known as ‘Yahoo Boys’ in Oshogbo, capital of Osun State.
The siblings identified as Akinrinmade Adepoju Sunday and Akinrinmade Adeniyi were arrested in their apartment. in Osogbo.
The statement released by the EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, on Thursday revealed that other suspects consist; Oni Oluwaseyi, Aborisade Abayomi, Gbolahan Sodiq, Dennis Oluwamuyiwa, Goodluck Olatayo, and Adeyemo Adeyinka,
“They were arrested at their hideout at Ayegbami area of the state capital by operatives, working on actionable intelligence on their alleged criminal activities.
“Items recovered from the suspects include two cars, laptops and mobile phones. The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” the statement reads.
